This year why not bring your equine companion with you for a holiday you will both enjoy?

While you stay in your luxury cottage your horse will have on-site purpose built stabling and excellent grazing.

There are scenic off-road tracks and quiet country lanes for you to explore.  Guides and maps are provided.

A short box ride away, or a long hack is Par Beach*  -  great for a long gallop, or fun in the sea.

The Camel Trail is now open to horses - you can ride from Bodmin to Padstow along a scenic disused railway track.

Rugged Bodmin Moor is close by, as well as several good pay-as-you-go cross-country courses.

We are also near BHS-accredited Barguse riding centre which has  large indoor and outdoor arenas and holds year round events and clinics, including show. jumping, dressage and natural horsemanship.  Barguse has excellent friendly instructors and a good set of practice cross-country jumps.

There is ample off road parking for your lorry or trailer at Chark.

After your riding activity your horse will be safe either stabled or in the grazing fields, while you pamper yourself. There is a good variety of places to eat and takeaways, or you can cater for yourself in the comprehensively equipped cottage kitchen.  You can then either relax in the peaceful surroundings at Chark, or visit one of the local attractions.

If you don’t have your own horse box for transport to Cornwall, Point to Point Trailers can supply a fully insured trailer (no more than 3 years old) for £125.00 for a week or £99.00 for four days. Click here for details.

*time of day restrictions apply from Easter to October.
