| Our cottages are original granite barns that have been sympathetically restored and converted in country style. Features include open plan living areas with exposed original beams and solid oak floors. All the cottages have satellite digital TV. The kitchens have all the usual facilities including built-in oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and washer-drier. The comfortable bedrooms feature fitted furniture and the bathrooms are well-equipped. Cots can also be provided if required. Oil-fired central heating provides heating and hot water and there are electric woodburner-type stoves to enhance that country feeling. All our accommodation is non-smoking. We welcome up to two (well-behaved!) dogs in each cottage. There is a small charge for each animal. Mesyow Chy offers full wheelchair access.Ysla Chy and Fenten Chy can be let together as one very spacious 3-bedroom cottage. This cottage is similar to Ysla Chy but sleeps just two people in one double/twin bedroom. It has a smaller, though still well-equipped kitchen area. The bathroom is fitted with a whirlpool bath. |

Lowarth Chy has two bedrooms (1 king-size and one double or twin) and a bath/shower room on the upper level with a spacious lounge and separate kitchen/diner on the lower level. The cottage has its own patio and garden area to the rear. |

Mesyow Chy is our accessible cottage. It is a very spacious single-storey cottage, with level access to the front and back, and parking right outside the door. There are two large bedrooms, a double room (bed has space under for hired hoist if necessary) and a twin bedded room which can also be set up as a double room, with zip and link beds. The large bathroom has all the necessary rails, basin with knee space under, and a walk/roll-in shower with adjustable shower chair, and toilet seat raiser. The kitchen has adaptations, such as a low level ceramic hob, and sink with knee space under. The lounge area includes an electric rise and recline chair. There are level patios to the front and back, and a lawn to the rear. There is level access to the duck pond and pets paddock. We live on site, and are happy to assist you in any way during your stay The
cottage is graded M3 under the
National
Accessible Scheme, and Visit
Britain 4 stars. Previous wheelchair using guests
have highly praised the cottage, and many of them have immediately re-booked
their next holiday. |

| Skyber
is our latest holiday cottage. It is currently being refurbished to maximise
use of space and to facilitate ease of use for the less able. It has a double
bedroom, with manoeuvre space for a wheel chair, and a kitchen/diner with
small lounge area and television. The large bathroom will have a level access
shower, a bath, bidet and toilet, and vanity unit style sink. There is a
separate lounge which can double as a bedroom if more than two people wish
to stay in the cottage. This will be achieved by either a futon bed settee,
or bunk beds. The cottage will have all the facilities of our other cottages,
and we are aiming for the same 4* rating with
Visit Britain
(the national recognised scheme). However, for a family
of four it will not be as spacious as our other two bedroom cottages.
The
cottage is situated on the courtyard adjacent to the pets paddock and
has its own enclosed patio and lawn area. |
